About Open mind Yachting

“Open mind Yachting” was founded by Belgian yachtsman Pierre Delvaux. Son of a Master Mariner, Pierre has been sailing since his early teens and never stopped since then. He completed more than 80.000 nautical miles offshore racing and delivering yachts worldwide. Pierre also completed four Atlantic crossings, four Fastnet races, two Sydney-Hobart races, one Middle sea race and one Round Ireland race.

Qualification-wise he is holding a Yachtmaster Ocean certificate which he got on the Isle of Wight and also a degree in yacht brokerage which he got in France. He now lives in Brussels from where he is running his company with drive and commitment.

“I decided to create “Open mind Yachting” following my passion for yachts and business. In the small world of yachting reputation is essential. Gaining a good one is quite difficult, losing it is very easy ! Every day we are working hard to make sure we provide the best services to our clients in order to keep them fully satisfied. Our goal for the next decade is to consolidate our reputation in the yachting world by increasing the quality of our services and our understanding of yacht's owner needs and wishes. “
